LIVESTOCK
It is our objective to maintain
and improve the genetic viability of as many breeds of rare domestic fowl
and animals as we can. To do this we endeavour to ensure that examples from
our stock are spread as far and wide around the United Kingdom as possible.
Please consult our list and call us with your requirements. The birds are
subject to availability. Not all breeds will be available at all times.
IMPORTANT - Chickens and Ducks are only available
from the on-line shop if purchased as part of our "Getting

|
BLACK ROCK – This is a commercial hybrid, basically a Rhode Island
Red crossed with Barred Plymouth Rock. They lay approximately 300 + brown

years or so. These birds are an excellent beginner’s bird, particularly
for children.

SPECKLEDY HEN HYBRIDS – Maran Type Hybrid lays a dark brown egg
WHITE STARS – A white egg laying hybrid very prolific based on a
white leghorn

Hatching
Eggs
|
Hatching eggs are available from March onwards. While we make every effort
to ensure that the eggs we sell are fertile, we cannot guarantee hatchability.
Eggs can only be collected or sent by carrier, entirely at the customer’s
risk.
If you have trouble sorting out the different colour variations, please
refer to our books, either British Large Fowl or Bantams in Colour.
