The Appenzeller is a breed of chicken originating in Appenzell region of Switzerland. The Spitzhauben variety, meaning "lacy bonnet", has a V-comb and feather crests in males and females. We have golden spangled and silver spangled birds. Currently free ranging on grass and are vaccinated. They are decent egg layers, laying small white eggs.
We have a number of colour variations. We will do our best to supply the colour that you choose, but that may not always be possible. In this case we will offer you the nearest alternative colour we have.
